Revolution Hits the Cons

...in an unofficial capacity. I got this note from my publisher this morning:

"We took the game to a Dallas con this last weekend and ran a few sessions; it went over well."

This week the crew will be at Origins in Columbus doing more demos and playtests. My brother and I will also be in attendance. I'm pretty jazzed about seeing the new graphics, etc. I'll do another update next week.

Playtesting Comment

My soon-to-be publisher just sent along a comment recently mailed to him concerning my game from a playtester:

"Randy got into town last night. He brought along a playtest game called "Revolution!" I thought I'd send you a quick note to say that Revolution is Fun! We had a blast playing it. You've got quite a solid hit in that game - which I'm sure you already knew, but I feel excited enough to say it anyway!"

I'm Still Here...

Yes, I haven't fallen clean off the face of the earth. My schedule has been very taxing as of late. However, I have some interesting news about Revolution. I just can't say anything about it. Yet. Because I haven't signed all the papers. Yet. Because that's happening soon... Let's just say, if you really want a copy of the Limited Edition first printing home-crafted version of my game, you'd better get clicking over to my website pretty soon. Otherwise, stay tuned...

New Game Idea

I've nearly worked out another interesting game idea. I put up a thread on BGG trying to think of a name and got quite a response. Thanks, guys! Also, my Revolution! page is over 1000 hits!

I just watched this great video on Purple Pawn. If you are at all interested in board game design, this is a must see! Matt goes through all the steps and considerations that led to Pandemic (which I haven't actually played, but I have watched).

Over 900 Hits on BGG Page

The Revolution! BoardGameGeek page finally went over 900 hits! I'm still looking for more people to rate the game--I need 16 more rating to get a rank.
