Apparently, that Italian game website is THE Italian game website, with over 5,600 subscribers. I got a significant increase in my website hits today--many from Italy and Spain. What fun!

Some Attention for Revolution in...Italy?

I got an interesting email from Alex Nuti this morning which included a link to an article on his Italian game site. I put the text into Babel Fish and got this as a translation:

More Inventory

I currently have 4 (pretty much) finished copies of Revolution. My goal is to have a good supply ready for the Spring Gathering of Cincinnati Axis & Allies players on April 12.

I noticed a glitch on one of my component sheets. I print my bid charts four to a page. As it happens, one out of the four has a slight but unacceptable error with the font (it's about one point too big, forcing the print out of the box). I've had to offer replacements to a few customers already. I'm pretty sure this error only affected about five games, so no harm done--except that my production costs have inched up yet again. But I guess that's all part of the fun! Otherwise, it's been been smooth sailing ever since the great February printing crisis. Sales have been slacking off, but then I don't really have too much to sell at the moment anyway. It's all good!

Quick Update

I've been back at more construction lately, but I noticed that my BoardGameGeek page just passed 300 hits. I am up to ten ratings now. If you haven't rated Revolution! yet, why not give it a go? Don't feel obligated to give it a 10 (even though I did!!), just go with your gut. Once I get over 30 ratings, my game will have an actual rank--are you feelin' the excitement?

Successful Men's Retreat

The Baptist Men's Retreat went very well. I sold all four games I brought and gave out lots of business cards. My game created a nice buzz among the attendees. We also got a chance to play It's Alive! for the first time. It turned out to be a very enjoyable game! The artwork alone makes it a wonderful experience. Or maybe I just liked it because I won! Anyway, you should definitely check it out. You can also keep up with the producer of the game at Creation & Play. It looks like he's going into board games full-time! Good luck, Jack!
